Saturday 9/28 we went to Cranes orchard to do some apple picking. What a perfect day it was the sun was shining and the kids all had fun. After apple picking we went to the restaurant to get some of those delicious apple donuts yum yum kids had cidercicles . Now to make use of all those apples.

Issy and I enjoyed the evening making Stop 'N' Go cookies. We went yesterday to get everything we needed so that when he got out of school today we can go straight home and get startedbelive me I heard it all the way home he was really excited. We both had fun and plan on making more this weekend because we still have alot of ingredients. We also plan on making candy apples and abracadra sticks ( pretzels with sprinkles) thanks for the book Titi Sessa.

My daughter Vanessa

Vanessa
I think it is about time someone writes about how special you are. You have so many beautiful quailities and I hope to hit all of them. As a daughter you are and always will be very special. I love the fact that you always think of others before your self and I can't express how proud it makes me feel. How you take the time every week to write such beautiful things about the people in your life. Although you are my daughter there are so many things I have learned from you and I thank you for that. As the big sister I love how you always look out for your sister and are willing to help her in any way you can and how you always call to see how she and her little family are doing or just to talk about any thing that comes up. As the Aunt of such a special little boy named Isreal, I love how you take the time to send Issy mail once a month and call him to see how how is doing I know you hold a special place in his heart his titi sessa. As a wife to yes a special man but remember it takes a special woman to be with a special man and I know that he feels exactly the same way about you I know he loved you the day he met you. As the mother of two four legged doggies ohh how they love you and how lucky they are to have you. As a teacher the things you say about your students how you always look for a positive way to teach and get through to them, I know they all love you remember "as much as space." As a friend you always express how special your friends are and I know they feel the same way about you because you have been blessed with many friends. So as I close my letter about such a wonderful person I would like to add once more how much I love you and how special you are to every one around you and how I miss you every day!!

We spent a nice day with Issy. Here is a picture of how his day started. We went to go and eat breakfast at Denny's and then we went to go see the new Veggie tales movie (cute) he had a good time there ate popcorn and drank his blue slurpee his G-pa bought him. After the movie we went to the DeVos center to see a car show and of course Sponge Bob. I had a good time hanging out with the boys I'm sure we will do it again soon.

Resolutions

I know its a week into the New Year and my Vanessa wants to know what my plans are this year. I guess like most people I want to lose some weight workout and eat right among trying to be healthy. Its true the older you get the harder it is to lose and the more it hurts:( I need to be more committed and I think I can do it. NOW I JUST NEED TO CONVINCE MY SISTER MARCY TO JOIN ME.
