The Master at Work

Here is the master at work. Isreal had a good time today listening to X-mas music while he took control of the tree decorating. As you can see all the decorations are at his level and there was no moving them as long as he was around. We had fun but eventually I will probably move some decorations around.

Thanksgiving time like always full of eating, eating and eating. We ate at my sister Marcy's house with her boys where between the both of us we made a feast to serve about 50 people. Halloween

Halloween day!! I really had a good time watching Issy at school. The picture on the bottom is him making me lunch. I had a large carrot and a slice of pizza with milk, yum, yum. The picture on the top is one of the activities the kids had to hammer golf tees into a pumpkin, Issy really liked that. Hopefully I can come again and enjoy spending time in Issy's class.

Got me

Surprise to me! Last week was a rough week for me on a few occasions but to my surprise Vanessa came home and surprised me, oh how I needed that. You should have looked at my expression when she she walked in it took a minute to register that she was standing in front of me. I was so happy to see hear and spend the weekend with her and I know she was also long overdue. Unfortunately the weekends always seem to fly by and by the time we knew it was time to take her to the airport but the good thing about that is that we will see her, Ryan and their babies in three weeks for Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see them soon! Thanks for the SURPRISE you got me!

Mammogram

Today started off pretty interesting. I was scheduled to have some routine blood work along with a long over due mammogram. You know you her from other woman how painful this can be but really pay no mind because you feel that are just exaggerating. Well let me tell you no woman should have to go through that kind of TORTURE! There should be a law against treating woman that way (a man must have invented that machine ) and then to be told that this will need to be done yearly! That is just way too soon to try and forget .

October Fest

Issy was in his first parade yesterday. Unfortunately the whether was very hot (90 degrees) for all the kids to be sitting still for over a 1/2 hour. By the time they got started alot of the kids were pretty much miserable and began to cry so some of the parents had to get on the trailer including Edgar. It was so cute seeing them all but by the time everything was done the kids were warn out from the heat.
